I've spent countless hours trying to figure out what triggers this, but
whatever it is; its caused by Logitech's backend servers interacting
with the clients. This only occurs with mysqueezebox.com related
subscription services.
Sirius playback = You are not authorized...
Slacker plaback = You
Slacker does mind, in fact this restriction and error comes from them.
Try logging into Slacker from 2 different computers and see what
happens. :)
It is possible you can get the error when you haven't actually logged
in anywhere else, I am not sure what causes that.

Andy, thats exactly what I'm talking about... It's the opposite of what
youre saying... People dont get interupted because they have two
sessions open at the same time... its Logitech that does it. I'm
listening two different songs at the same time... same slacker
account... same machine. I
*2 different computers*. Maybe you missed that part.

Oh okay... Yeah I tried it on two different PC and got logged out
immediately on both sirius and slacker!
I'm not sure if this is even an option or not... but what are the
chances you could allow mysqueezebox.com to allow multiple usernames per
service? For example, my Sirius Radio
Multiple accounts have been supported for both Slacker and Sirius for a
while now. Just add a new one where is says Add Another Account.
Then you can assign a different account to each player.

Has this issue been fixed? I'm having it now. Slacker was working
great before. Now after only a few songs I get the 'you have logged in
somewhere else' message which is not true. It's incredibly annoying and
making slacker completely useless over Squeezebox. For me hitting play
again does
Yes,
I'm still getting this error message. It is really annoying. Anything
that can be done to correct it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian

Yeah that's a different issue, and restarting SC won't help. Try just
hitting play several times until it works. I'm working on it with the
Slacker folks.

SD/Logitech is aware of the SN Beta issue, dunno about SC7.
Nope. Not fixed yet. Same exact issue. SB3
I'm also seeing this error now too:
Unable to retrieve next track, press PLAY to try again (401

Can anyone comment on whether this is a problem for Slacker to address,
or is it an issue for Slim Devices/Logitech to address?

Thanks
Should we report this as a possible bug, or is someone already looking
into it?

I might have fixed the issue, Slacker sessions were being cached for too
long. I wiped the cache and changed the session timeout length, please
let me know if you see this error again.

I've recently been experiencing the same problem. Somtimes I also get
the message Unable to retrieve next track. Pandora and Rhapsody are
working and Slacker worked well until recently.

Perhaps they are becoming more poular and can't always handle the volume
of simultaneous listeners?
I was also wondering if it might be a minor bug in SC7 that needed to
be adjusted.

SD/Logitech is aware of the SN Beta issue,
Hi,
From time to time, while listening to a Slacker station (saved in
favorites) through SC7 and my SB3, the music stops abruptly and I get
the following error message in SqueezeCenter:
You have logged in on another device, press play to start
This occurs with my having touched anything on my
