I'd still want to know what is making the unused pi do work. ..what is
'speaking' to it? Are they just squeezelite devices? if lms isn't being
called by them what is?
Did you ever look at the cpu load on the pis?
If pulling the plug works as a solution all cool but seems odd you need
to do that
Things have gotten exponentially better since disconnecting "always
connected" pi when it wasn't being used. Seeing as it wasn't costing me
much to keep it powered up all the time I just kept it on... I didn't
think for a second it would cause issues with syncing if it wasn't being
used (by me and

I asked you to look at top so you can see if the pi cpu is stuggling.
Mine was and i found out having upnp add on turned on meant my tv was
hogging cpu of the pi as it tried to connect to the upnp...if you can't
look at the top command try pulling out the lan cables from the router
to reduce anyt

Yes, I synchronize across all three players the 2 pi's and the

Log in to ssh and type the command top see what the cpu of the squeeze
server is
