The price is attractive but is the 770 actually any good as a remote?
What I'd like is to be able to give the device to a total novice and
allow them to browse at an acceptible speed, can the 770 do that? Many
other posts seem to be people who've gone back to using the standard
remote, the 800

Well I think Ben Klaas, the guy who wrote the 770 skin, said that he
preferred the normal remote.
Ultimately I don't care what a novice would think - I have ordered one
for me! I prefer the web interface overall, as it allows me to browse,
but I'd like to do it from my armchair not from my

Would it be OK if we didn't post the latest Nokia prices du jour here?
We already get a lot of spam posts for cell phones that we delete, and
Nokia spam happens to also be a common sign of a dead forum because it
means the moderators aren't watching. I know the 770 is a popular
product among this

I think the 770 is the exception to the rule, I for one thank the woot
post, because I have been looking for somthing like that for a while,
since my axim is not the greatest. And its directly related to
slimserver.
Maybe if there was a for sale section, it might be better over there.
