The previous stable versions didn't convert WP 6.0a, if I remember correctly. However, all the beta versions, including 1.9.125 do convert, with no intermediate steps. I'm sure that has been retained in the new 2.0. I do a lot of work in WP and print a daily journal every night using OOo.
