When writer tries to recover the file, sometimes it is successful others times not (same file). That seems to depends on if I rename the file and try to open it. If I hit cancel (recovery stage) it will open the recovered file (different named, same file) and lock up. If I am not posting

I use stuffit utility, still not clear about getting more file(s) back then what I started with? When I zip and then unzip the *.odt, I have only one file. If I understand correct, there are file(s) generated or hidden after compressing/extracting the *.odt file? Be happy to send you th

Thanks for the clarification. Change the file extension to a zip = *.odt to *.zip. Now if I can get it to change, so far stuffit has not recognized the extension change. I have tried a known good file and experencing the same issues, maybe I am doing something incorrect. Will keep worki
