I would first like to say that I think OpenOffice is a fantastic tool - and
a great alternative to Microsoft Office. My only wish is that there was
also a Calendar application like Microsoft Outlook included in the package -
but for free... I'm not complaining. Keep up the good work!

I have been using Sunbird, the standalone calendar from Mozilla . It doesn't
have
email service [which I was not interested in], however, it has worked well for

When is openoffice going to have a calendar function, similar to that in
Outlook.
I would like to rid myself of Microsoft Office, but until there is an
alternative for all the functions provided, then I cannot.

Have you looked at the calendar program available from Mozilla.org on
the products page? I use Mozilla Thunderbird with the calendar
extension.

We found some templates and wizards and checked out Sunbird.
Unfortunately all of these were not formatted to go right to the margins
on an 8.5 by 11 sheet of paper in land

and wallet size, and couldn't find anything even close to a calendar.
Am I looking in the wrong places or are there none?

Why not, Visio is a vector drawing program. It doesn't ship with a
