In my use of row-level-permission, I've also found Chris Long to be very helpful in adding fixes. It's now working very well in my use (although I'm not stretching it very much, it's certainly been essential for my app, and it would be nice to get it into core). Is there ever a roundup of branch

I can understand the desire to keep the branch count low, but looking at the number of people asking for Unicode support, and the broad applicability it would have, and the comparitvely low demand for row-level permissions and multi-db support, I would argue for starting the Unicode branch now.
