This behaves in a somewhat similar manner and as far as I have gone through
this and tested, I am pretty happy with this. But I would still prefer
having some HTML5 attributes with fallback javascript as well. Since these

There is an existing ticket with patch to support HTML5 input types

I created a ticket [1] in Django. And I think that is a important bug.
I also think it has not had sufficient impact.
I sent a patch, but this is only a reference, and temporal solution for me.
I don't think that it is a final solution.
