Say there are 2 static DHCP entries:
dhcp-host=00:ff:aa:00:01:1c,net:host1
dhcp-host=00:ff:aa:00:*:*,net:hosts
Are MAC address matches longest-match, or is it first match?
Funny storing. I was running dnsmasq on a lab network, and was in the process
of copying a file using scp from a test node to our lab server. So, I did:
scp file server:
and it copied. When I looked at the server, the file wasn't there. It turned
out dnsmasq was serving up 127.0.0.1 for the
:*:*:*,net:pe-xes
dhcp-option=17,/srv/nfsroot/powerpc
dhcp-boot=net:pe-xes,kernel-xes,build,192.168.2.1
But, I have a few other machines that have different NFS roots, so this isn't
a great option. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?
