Worked with Jakub and determined that the plugins created by the 'Add to
Search Bar' Firefox extension were the primary source of issues here.
The OpenSearch plugin has been updated to handle those and was released
as part of Do 0.8, so I'm closing this issue. In the future, any bugs

It was a typo. I know right now how I did it.
Using cat {file} I "opened" the file and copied the content, but the
last line was in the line, where terminal's PS1 was

typo?
I added the tag at the end and it was picked up by Do,
so if it is just a typo, then there's something else going on.

The profiles.ini looks fine, so it should be scanning the searchplugins
folder. The namespaces in the search plugin are fine, so its processing
it as an OpenSearch plugin. What I did notice, however, is that XML does
not contain an element. The code looks for a ShortName,
Description, and Url, and

The contents of .mozilla/firefox/profiles.ini would be useful, as this
is what the OpenSearch plugin uses to find the plugins in the
searchplugins folder for your profile.

What distro are you using, what version of firefox, and what is the path to
your search plugin xml file?

shipped with Firefox.

Which plugins is it not seeing? Chances are it's not seeing sherlock
plugins, which is not part of the plugin, it only indexes opensearch
plugins.
