Hi,
do you have any public documents or samples that show how the output looks like
in various formats?
Also, the link to the pdf flyer on http://www.xmplar.biz/copeboox.html is
broken.

Hi,
have you tried putting the title outside the info tag?
Like:
structure xml:id=guide
output renderas=article/
titleMy Article Title/title
module renderas=section
I use it that way with the same toolchain and it works for me.

Hi,
I have an assembly that is rendered as a book, and I'd like to create a draft
version from it. However, it seems that the status=draft attribute gets lost
somewhere.
I assume that I should add the status attribute to the structure tag, but I
haven't find it mentioned in the DocBook 5.1:
to a validator like
Jing.

Subject: [docbook-apps] How to validate assemblies
Hi,
We are using a slightly customized Relax-NG schema based on docbook, and I have
the following problem when validating files (we are using Jing). Our documents
are highly modular, using lots of xincludes.

to switch from ol to dl and use your own letters in the dt element.

Hi,
we've just started to translate our manuals, and we use entities to deal with

Hi,
I am still trying to make it possible to xinclude a group of elements to
multiple places in a document, and be able to validate every file. The
simplified use-case is the following:
file1.xml:
...
procedure
titleProcedure 1/title
stepStep 1
stepStep 2
step
xinclude
para/para
/simplesect
simplesect id=id2
title/title
para/para
itemizedlist/itemizedlist
/simplesect
What is the proper way to xinclude the contents of simplesect id=id2?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Everyone,
Thank you very much for your help and useful advice.
We have decided to give the following approach a try (hope to do a
proof-of-concept in a few weeks):
- we will have the docbook xml files translated
- we will store the original and the translated xmls in separate
computer-aided translation tools), storing the source text and the
translations in the same file is not really feasible.
Any comment, tip, or recommendation is most welcome.

Hi,
I think that you will need to customize the generate.toc template, and possibly
set nop for your root element:

Hi,
I would like my procedure steps to start with Step %n. instead of %n.
I thought this would be a simple gentext customization, but either it's more
complicated, or I am missing something totally obvious.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've tried to escape the quotes using quot; but that does not work either
(opening quote expected for profiling condition).
Is there a simple way to get this work?
Thanks.

Thanks a lot, that worked!
