To clarify, the chapter in Norm Walsh's
http://tdg.docbook.org/tdg/5.1/ch05.html is about customizing the
*schema* for DocBook, not the stylesheet. Information on customizing
the stylesheet for DocBook 5 can be found

Hi,
No, it does not need to be specific to each language. The imports
should look something like this in your customization layer, putting it
after the import of the main docbook.xsl:
guide.
Thanks!

Hi,
Here is the link to the part of Bob’s book that covers the Saxon processor:

I think you can keep the xmllint processing as is (I use it for XInclude
processing, too),

Yes, DocBook XSL used to support syntax highlighting with xslthl, so I'll look
into some more over the next couple of days.

Docbook at xslthl http://xslthl.sourceforge.net/
Question for the community?
Is this 'supported' by docbook-xsl?
Is the author of this a part of the docbook community?
AFAIK docbook does (used to?) support syntax hightlighting?

Hi,
I thought I would summarize my progress on syntax highlighting and then ask
about the sourceforge.net version of Saxon.
My DocBook is "docbook-xsl-ns-1.79.1". My install of xslthl is "xslthl-2.1.3".
When using the jar files which came with DocBook 5.1, and from xslthl 2.1.3, I

I can't answer that - I don't peek into the corners so don't trip over
this issue. Wait till Bob or the team answer?

Hi,
Under DocBook 5.1 I've been able to list programs, but line numbering has no

other precondition required for line numbering under 5.1?
