I've always wondered, why did Tom leave the Doobies circa 1980 ?
In an interview on the Wildlife Tour Video he states that he had to leave in
the middle of a tour.
I'm sure I'll get a reply on this one from you guys!!
Thanks

An interesting side note to the TJ Band and Kenny Loggins show. There

OK, so here's my two cents:
I've always loved the sound of the early Doobie albums that Ted produced.
While not a "live sounding" recording, I always loved the sound of the
acoustic guitars, very sweet and pristine! The drums sounded punchy and very
warm. I still try and tune my drums to

Hi everyone -
guess I'm getting my quota of posts out of the way

arrangements, etc. I've heard him say that the production on those a

I'm happy that they won too! I don't understand how they can win a Grammy when their
new CD doesn't get any air time. So, I also think that the Doobs should get some
attention as well for SR.

Hi George and fellow Doobie-ites -
Yes - wasn't it fantastic about Steely Dan!! I loved them in my 20's and
love them more in my 40's. But George, I think SR would have to have been
nominated this year, but I am sure someone out there knows for sure.
Sure would have great to hear the guys
Congratulations to Steely Dan on their Grammy Awards. I've only heard one
song from the new CD...any reviews from my DBFC mates? Until tonight I don't
think their CD got much attention in the NY area. Becker & Fagan really
looked uncomfortable among the hype & glitz crowd, didn't they?

Can't disagree with you at all...but, you might wanna add Road Angel to the

When Big Mike started this whole gig, which really launched the Fan Club,
