[Dovecot] using # special charter in config

Before dovecot I'm using # charter to mark public folders. So if I want set prefix = # its of course won't work, I tried using \# combination without luck. Is this possible anyway?

I have some folders with a good amount of spam. While demonstrating full text search to a user, we found a folder that would crash dovecot while doing a fts. While splitting up the mailbox to narrow it down, I found there are a good number of messages in that folder that all made it crash in

Running dovecot 1.0.5 on Debian testing. I've just tried to create folder using Russian charters after that I'm tried to renamed it without luck. Folder removed and no new created and I still subscribed to old folder even its not exist anymore.

In my case, i have a 1.2TB filesystem which is currently holding 312GB of mail. According to the values present earlier, i can have up to 1268272861184/8192 (1.2TB/2^13) files/dirs. The magic number in my case is 154818464. As i said, currently i have 312GB of used space on a single
