Potter & Brumfield (TYCO) R10-E1Y4-V2.5K is the standard relay in all the T-4XC

Hi all,
I have found a T4xc, however the Transmit Receive
relay is missing, and a non standard one has been fitted, adjacent to the
original socket.
I wonder if the original type is still able to be
sourced somewhere?

That crystal is used in the alignment of the R-4. It's specifically
called out in the procedure in the manual. Not used in any of the later
Steve,
All the "old favorites" are getting old, like the
rest of us, and you have to watch for bad elements now. The Shure 444 (and

out the unit, (and it is in need a bit of TCL) however, while
that's under way, I'm looking for advice on a mic.
What is the preferred mic to use with the 4C? Ar
Shure 444 works very well; the gray desk mic
matches the era of the TR-4 as well. I also used a Kenwood MC-50 with the
Impedance set on H (high), it sounded good also. Congrats on the superb
radio.

I have a 13.6 mhz crystal that was in an old R-4 I bought. I'm assuming
the original owner used it for picking up 2.5MHz WWV but i'm wondering
