Need some feedback.  I have an extensive collection of Drake gear that includes EVERYTHING in the 4 line, with accessories.  This includes a Sherwood-modified C line and an L4B, SPR4, TR4Cw/RIT, etc.  I had special cabinetry built for it.  It's truly a masterpiece.   Would I be better off selling

I think the best Drake receiver for AM is the R4B.  It's got the sensitivity and the selectivity already built in, ideal for AM.  The R4C is good, too, though you need to add the optional 6 or 8 kc filter for best results.  Just mu .02 worth   73, Ed NI6S
