I finally got my R-7 working again. I fried the PROM, U201, on the digital
control board nearly two months ago when I accidentally created a solder bridge
between the 5 10-volt P/S lines while trying to change the use of the Aux.

Greetings:
I still haven't fixed my R-7 yet but I'm making progress. I bought a digital
control board from a TR-7 tried it found that all but the lowest 3 bands
worked; the board outputs for the 3 bands that didn't work were all continually
low, incidentally, while the outputs from the PROM
Because of an accidental solder bridge [that I put] between the +5 10 V buses
on the underside of the parent board I fried the PROM IC, U201 [P/N 3040082] on
the digital control board. Everything else appears OK but all the PROM outputs
stay low although the enable-not input is low the [4]
