Hi Wade, To the best of my knowledge Drake did not lacquer the C line chassis. Certainly my very late S/N chassis are not lacquered and I have never seen any that were. Do you perhaps mean the black exterior cabinets? I did have a reference to an exact match paint they used but unfortunatly lost
