replaces all the electrolityics, resistors, etc. on a printed cct. board of
very high quality, to fit inside the AC-4 case.

To the best of my knowledge Drake did not lacquer the C line chassis.
Certainly my very late S/N chassis are not lacquered and I have never seen any
that were.
Do you perhaps mean the black exterior cabinets?
