I have not done this on the R-4x series, and am just
getting ready to do it on my AC-4 power supply, but I
have done it on several older BCB tab
If you ever decided to sell your TR-4C (WHY???) it
would be worth far more with the original box and
manuals. But then, I'm a pack rat; I still have the
original boxes and manuals for the R-4 and T-4X I got
from my grandfather in 1980.

Anybody got the specs handy for TR-72 crystals? I just
picked one up at a hamfest for a nice price.
I've already got an ML-2, TR-22C and TR-33C; if the
crystals from any of these are the same as the TR-72,
