Based on the PS-7 manual page 4, the "120" selection is for 108-132 volts
input. And yes I doubt that voltage that low would run the PS-7.

If it is as low as 115V and the voltage selector switch is set at 120V, you
will definately have a problem. There is also a HI/LO selector switch on the
panel next to the voltage switch, but I am not familiar with the operation of
this function and would hesitate to advise you w

Check your line voltage. I have 4 PS-7s and if they don't see 120 to 122V,
they shut down when I am tuning up and that shutdown point is right at 40 watts
as measured on a Bird wattmeter.
