I'm using cvs XFree86-4.2.99.2 and want to patch the kernel with that
version of drm code. Is their any way I can create a patch for
kernel-2.4.19? I already diffed the drm code but I'm missing some
include files.
Thanks

This can happen intermittently or it can be a symptom of a lockup. Keith
turned it into de

And probably on VT switches as well?

Hey guys,
I'm trying to look into the artifacts I am getting on screen with my Radeon
Mobility 9000/M9. What I have is a 1/2" band on the left hand side about 1/2"
from the edge. It is not a fixed color, it is a rendering of somewhere else
on the scene, or some sort of different depth. It happe

I am getting a 100% reproducable lockup on a pull of CVS from this
morning (10 Nov 2002).
When the kernel DRM module is loaded, and I do a ALT-CTRL-KP- to change
resolutions, the system locks up.
Apparently, the card is always reporting busy
(drmCommandNone(DRM_RADEON_CP_IDLE) is always return
Hi all,
not too long ago I read on this list that you have to be extra careful
about using floating point in the kernel. Is the same true for MMX? If
so, would it be dangerous to compile a kernel module with -march=athlon?
AFAIK gcc-3.2 generates MMX instructions if the target CPU supports
them.

Hi.
If anyone has a PCI voodoo3 they would like to donate to me, I'd be
happy to do as I promised ages ago and rip out the glide code.
the reason Ive not done it yet is my only VD3 is an AGP one, and I dont
have a slot free for it.
Im in the UK, and I'll pay postage. I'd prefer a fanless board.
