SOLARIS 10 is the OS for Data Centers - provides features such as DTrace,
Predictive Self Healing and Award Winning ZFS. Get Solaris 10 NOW
http://p.sf.net/sfu/solaris-dev2dev
on the desktop). Is that maybe a symptom of the
lost interrupts that the errata refers to (GM965 + MSI)?
This sounds like the same error I get when running my GM965 with
framebuffer compression enabled.
Regards,
Erik

Don't miss this year's exciting event. There's still time to save $100.
Use priority code J8TL2D2.

Register now and save $200. Hurry, offer ends at 11:59 p.m.,
Monday, April 7! Use priority code J8TLD2
guide, the chapter about
fragment shaders, and I think I may be interested in this. I'll check
out gallium soon but I need to study for a physics test tomorrow as
well. Is the latest revision of that document v1.1? If not then I
may need to fetch a new one.

I'm a student interested in gsoc and I've looked at this list for a little
while now. I'm no expert, but I do have a bunch of ATI R500, R400, and R300
hardware around, familiarity with C, and time. If not through GSoC I am
interested in contributing to this project this summer anyways.
On Mon,
the
issue. You can reach him thru this list or [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thanks

The first time I am logged in to the system after startup, I do not have
permission to open DRM:
What I did was:
1. Turn on computer.
2. Log in as root.
3. star KDM: /etc/init.d/xdm start
4. Log in as normal user.
5. Open Konsole.
6. Run glxgears. Now I get:
libGL error: open DRM failed
I tested kpovmodeler and it locked up the system so I had to turn it off
by holding down the power button 4 seconds. This is reproductible, but
only if kpovmodeler is able to open DRM. This is the output that
kpovmodeler shows before locking the system:
kpovmodeler: WARNING: Serialization
