For whatever reason, I can't seem to build xorg right now. I'll have a
try another time, but thanks for the heads-up.

I can remember from the top of my head but there is maybe some patch

Hi,
I mainly used r300 on ppc so far thus yes it works.
Good to know.
I am using it on x86 for
the 9800 lockup. But as i used a g5 i don't know if there is an issue with the
agp of g4, don't think so... And IIRC someone told me that it worked on a

Hi,
I just tried the latest r300 cvs code (with current mesa cvs, latest
Xorg snapshot) but all I get is a lockup as soon as the X server starts.
If I have debugging enabled, I get a loop of radeon_do_cp_idle calls.
Hardware is:

For some reason it wasn't built initially but its there now and I got
all the technicalities figured out. Now, however, X instantly loops or

Ouch, ok. All gone, but where do I get radeon_drv.so then?

agpgart and uninorth-agp already loaded.

Umm. good question. Probably because I don't know what I actually have
to ask it to load.

No, I don't. Thanks. I'll try the instructions again some time (last
time it didn't work but I can't remember what went wrong) and will post
something more specific then.
Thanks,
Does anyone know of a small how-to that lists the necessary things I
need to do to compile the r300 driver for ppc?
Also, I'm running Xorg 6.8.2, does that suffice?
Thanks,
johannes

Hi,
So I've been scouring the net and the mailing list archives without
finding anything - so I'll just ask:
It seems the r300 code isn't very far yet, and the web-site states that
the Radeon 9700 code hasn't been tested. However, is there a chance this
might work on a 15" albook, or are there f
