Try disabling multitexture, if you have the Q1 gamedata then I would
not mind hearing if it works with twilight with a few different

The current mesa-3-5-branch code has a bug dealing with GL_QUADS,
suffice it to say that it results in some, interesting, rendering bugs.
Thanks to relnav and lordhavic for helping pin down what was actually
happening. (And relnav for helping test.)
Patch is attached.

Considering that the mesa-3-5-branch is significantly faster (or was at
last check) it would be nice to have it updated to be in sync with
current cvs.

and compile it yourself, or wait for 4.1.0 which should have the fixes.
Or, as the poster is using Debian, use the DRI CVS .debs[0], as I now
have the larger drive they will be updated regularly again.

The DRM module from the DRI CVS seems to work fine in 2.4.4.
(The one in the kernel however does seem to be broken.)

I'm using gcc-2.95 (2.95.4.ds1-0.010407), and I should have packages
compiled with a current CVS tomorrow, going to sleep now.

Not that I know of, sadly.

Probably quite a bit actually.

Actually, the problem is that libGL itself was miscompiled, I'm working
on tracking this down and properly fixing it.

This seems to follow what was done to the in kernel DRM code, and other
bits of kernel code, however I have not tested it yet.

That I believe is the correct answer for now, I'm about to fly out the
door, but when I get back I'll fix that, the ldconfig problem, move
things to people.debian.org, and see about making it apt-able.
Thanks a lot
