Hi,
I'd recommend trying again with Tomcat 7 and Java 8. DSpace 5.x has
some issues with Tomcat 8[0], and Java 8 is highly recommended by the
Solr project[1] (which DSpace relies on heavily). Also, Java 7 has
been end of life for a while now[2]. This would be a much more sane
base configuration.
I am reposting my query from last week since I did not received any
feedback from the list.
I would be ready to fill a JIRA ticket for this one if someone points me in
this direction.

I'm having a problem with TomCat 8.5 và Dspace 5.3, as described below:
When restart tomcat, DSpace run stable in the range of 1 to 2 hours. And
then, suddenly crashes without an error message .
- Check Task manager shows tomcat running with high cpu usage, more than
