I want to ask a question about a possible bug in dspace 6 In dspace 4 it
works and and dspace 6 it does not.
basically, in the mets.xml for an item dspace 4 produces:
This dissertation presents detailed studies of the
electronic structures of two molecular systems, iron monocarbide (FeC)
and
Folks - I whipped up a new copy of Dspace 6 and am trying to use the OSU
gallery theme (https://github.com/osulibraries/DSpaceOSUKB). I have it
running and it looks good, but when I do a search the correct number of
items are found but they are not displayed. (see attached)
What did I miss?
Good Morning.
Sorry for English, because I'm using the Google translator.
I am a beginner in DSpace and do not know how to solve a problem.
I created a servlet, but when I try to call it, it gives the following
error:
HTTP Status 405 – Method Not Allowed
*Type* Status Report
*Message* HTTP

I think that this used to be done by ant, but in 5_x it now happens in
dspace-api:org.dspace.storage.rdbms.DatabaseRegistryUpdater
Hi!
So your query just remove duplicated rows no matter ID attribute (what I
was thinking)
The problem was solved. thanks a lot

Thanks for the tip, Claudia. I was going crazy wondering why my types
weren't loading automatically. I probably won't add them to dc-types.xml,
as I'd like to keep it as vanilla as possible to avoid git conflicts when
we rebase on upstream revisions etc.
Thanks again,

Hello Alan,
no own types are not automatically loaded if they are in an own file.
You may simply place your customizations in dc-types.xml
Adding after:
dc
http://dublincore.org/documents/dcmi-terms/
your own Schema:
[YourName]
[YourNamspace]
and
Hi,
Please try this:
1. Take a backup of your database
2. Before starting the Flyway migration (bin/dspace database migrate)
execute these two SQL statements on your database:
- delete from group2group where id in (select id from group2group g1
where exists (select 1 from
Hey maria,
Could you please explain why did you make the changes, what was the
default functionality and what happened after you changed the source
code in discovery.xml

Hello,
Is your repository public? It could be that you are getting lots of traffic
from search bots or people harvesting via REST / OAI... this would
definitely increase the load on the server and create more database
connections.

Humberto,
You have ~10GB of physical (real) RAM free on the system, so you shouldn't
be so eager to use swap (fake) memory yet. What is the size of Tomcat's JVM
heap? If it's an Ubuntu server, you can see the JVM_OPTS variable in
/etc/default/tomcat7. For example, ours is:
Dear Claudia,
I'm trying to add a new metadata schema to be populated during `ant
fresh_install` but it doesn't get applied—only dc, dcterms, and eperson do.
I know I can manually ingest it with `dspace registry-loader -metadata
my-types.xml` but I was hoping that DSpace could do this for me.
