Just a bit of follow-up to my last post. First, I was wrong - logging in as an admin didn't make the restricted 443 pages visible. Second, I also understand why port 8080 is working now but not 443 which had worked before. Because I removed redirectPort="443" from the definitions in the server

Hi Walter, Aha, yes, I'm starting to think the issue here is in your Apache <-> Tomcat communications/redirects. The number of redirects/rewrites is quite a bit confusing in all those files. I think you could really simply the setup by just using "mod_proxy" and "mod_proxy_ajp", which is our rec
