Re: [dspace-tech] Has anyone used the Getty TGN as a source for an Authority/Choice Plugin?

Hi Luigi Andrea, Thank you for sharing the code for Getty TGN integration, I've implemented it on one of the repositories I'm maintaining. I have a question though. The TGNAuthority lookup seems to limit its search of placeType to inhabited places only (http://vocab.getty.edu/aat/38347) [1]

Hi Michael, impressive detective work! Maybe an additional piece of the puzzle: I don't think that default DSpace exposes the direct bitstream links in OAI-PMH. One piece of code where I know this has been added, is in the RIOXX patch: https://github.com/atmire/RIOXX57/blob/master/dspace/modules

Thanks Bram, > Conclusion: Can't reproduce I’ve had a poke about in those 2 repositories, and I’ve also not been able to reproduce the issue in either repository (but my investigation wasn’t particularly exhaustive!) – having said that, the issue is with the link to the bitstream in the OAI-PM

Dear Bolette, *"My question is should I simply accept the 2GB limit (I can still upload larger files from command line) or is there a setting that I am missing?"* 1. You shouldn't accept the 2GB limit. There are many installations around where files larger than 2GB have been successfully uploaded
