I came here to ask about this exact thing!!! We also just upgraded to
7.6.1 with Shib auth.
In my Chrome console I see several instances of the dreaded "No _links
section found" error after Shibboleth authentication occurs. Everything on
the frontend is displaying perfectly, so I don't think
Check your Tomcat logs. If Tomcat can't load the server webapp cleanly
then /server will return a 404. Happened to me earlier in the week.
It could be something else, but I usually start with Tomcat. There's also

My understanding is that each field under authority control is considered
unique and distinct from the others, and will therefore be given different
authority control IDs. As far as I know (and I think this holds for DSpace
7.6 as well as 6.x) there is no way to share the authority control
