Hello,
Just to report back that i finally got my LDAP to work with Dspace. Found
out dspace actually does accept username format (not just email format).
Can you direct me to where i can find dspace themes/templates?
Thanks for the help.

Yes, you can put anything into id_field, I thought you knew that when

Dear all,
I am installing a DSpace 3.0 XMLUI instance here in Berlin. I tried to add the
XPDF media filters and got an error. To get a deeper look into the source code
of DSpace I decided to install an IDE. I read
https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/IDE+Integration+-+DSpace+and+NetBeans
I've been trying to figure out how to use solr stats (again) and have
come across some curious results such as:
doc
str name=continentAS/str
str name=countryJapan/str
str name=countryCodeJP/str
str name=dns10.4.36.105/str
int name=id4230/int
str name=ip10.4.36.105/str
Hi Pascal-Nicolas,
filtering has been disabled because of some changes related with
build.properties. Here's some recent code that tries to re-enable it,
but it hasn't been merged yet because it causes tests to fail (read:
this is experimental code, use at your own risk):
Also, there are some comments in Jira related to that pull request:

Hi Sean,
the only place I can think of where it may come from is the GeoIP
database ([dspace]/config/GeoLiteCity.dat). Try looking here if you
can find it:

Hi all,
We noticed something disturbing over the weekend: many hits from

Hi Reinhard,
I just wanted to check with you if this is not the problem:

Please, try answering ASAP. If there's really a problem, we might take

attend.
Yea, that sounds great. I appreciate the help.

Hi Helix,
Thanks for the quick reply!
I saw that posting earlier, but from what I can see in my logs, it
really looks like the METS/ORE links are the explanation.
Both the timing, and the scope of the issue seem to fit (time when OAI

This is an oddity a bit of a mystery to me.
The odd thing is that Google supposedly no longer uses OAI-PMH at all.
They retired support for it back in 2008:

That being said, I believe Google Scholar runs
Hello,
Can I prevent another DSpace repository from harvesting metadata and
bitstreams? Or put another way, can I limit harvesting of collections to
metadata and references to bitstreams only?

Are you going to do that with 3.0, 1.8 with the OAI 2.0 addon or 1.8
old oai webapp?

Just a note to all...
In today's DSpace Developers Meeting we discussed this Google Scholar
linking oddity. Although we haven't come up with any solutions (or even
what the exact cause may be), we decided to open up a ticket to start to
capture any examples/ideas that anyone has:
Yes, in DSpace 3.0 RC3. Also note that I am using jspui pages not xmlui. I also
want this to be done in DSpace 1.8.2 which of course don't have discovery in
JSPUI pages. Please reply urgently
Thanks Regards
