Hi
Still not able to do any changes:
1. Please specify the location of Message. properties file .
The problem is , as we view any submissions metadata fields , it looks ok
but when we click to Show Full Item Record it shows the metadata value
having fields name as dc.contributo
(resending due to a list bounce, Andrea you will have got this
already, no need to read twice :))

Dear All
1. Just wanted to know how many different users did DSpace supports?
With their rights.
2. Is it possible that particular users should view some metadata
fields rather than all.
Thanks in Advance..

Hi Ian,
I have input only for a very small part of your e-mail:

Hi,
I have been doing some load testing on the development version of
DSpace3 here at Cambridge. (Actually I am doing it from Sydney where I
am based, but thats another story).
I've done some reasonable extensive JMeter load tests all of which
seem to point to quite slow performance for a web appl
Super!! Thank you very much!
So, if the metadata content does have the special characters such as '&' (or
symbols) it will have to be enclosed in quotes or use HTML code, e.g. & for
'&'. Is that correct?

I'm thinking of adding this :
./bin/dspace update-discovery-index
to my cron job, along with filter-media indexing.

No, there was actually no problem. It was just a precaution.
I didn't even need it if I looked carefully. The parse

I dont think there is a way other than changing the Cocoon code,
blocking the logger or not throwing the exception and

Hi Ian,
I've never done this, but here's documentation that explains what
needs to be done:

Hi Ian,
I don't know about shortening the stacktrace, but that's a pretty
generic Java question so you may try googling around.
To answer at least a part of your question, this is where 404s are
handled in Cocoon. You may want to edit the XSL to filter what you
send to the user for specific excep

It's as simple as I said, just import the Mirage main xls
Did you figure out the Solr indexing? Here's what you need:

Hi,
Is there a standard way of getting hold of the userID in Cocoon so I
can use the SetHeader[1] action in a pipeline in the theme ?
I want to add
X-User:
to each response that is authenticated.
where token is a sha1 of the userID.
Thanks
Ian

Dear helix,
I think not all meta tags used in Google Scholar were included in
GoogleMetadata.java. I managed to add citation_conference_title and it did
showed up in the item's metadata after I rebuild DSpace while it failed to
load citation_inbook_title. Attached is my modified GoogleMetadata.jav
Hi,
I've been doing some load testing recently using a jmeter spidering
test, and I notice the Webapp node becomes Disc IO bound long before
anything else runs out which I think is odd since the user is
anonymous, and I would not have expected huge amounts of disk IO.
