Hello Monika,
Thank you for the reply. As far as I know, this module is too old and doesn’t
work with the new DSpace 5.2. With what version of DSpace are you using it?
Any other suggestions on how to import data from DSpace 5.2 into Drupal?
Many Thanks,
Layale.

Hello,
A user was added as an administrator, but the task pool is not visible to
him.
We use the JSPUI version 3.1, your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Dear all,
With the Bitstream Format Registry DSpace recognizes the mimetype of a
bitstream, but doesn't specify the version of the file format. We are
thinking about including the version information in the database.
Has anyone done this yet? We'd be glad about tips.
Best regards,

Hi,
I'm working on Dspace version 5.3 XMLUI and I want to make some changes to
the front page. Which XSLT file should I edit. I'm looking to remove the
community list from the front page. I've tried over-riding it with a custom
process but doing so changes the custom function of expanding list on
Hi Keith,
XMLUI isn't organized around files but rather around templates, some of
which are shared among different pages.
You probably already figured out [1]. Now you just need [2] to distinguish
between the homepage and /community-list (@target).

Hi Helix84,
I've actually implemented the over-ride suggestion you gave a few years
ago. It works in removing the community list from the front page, but in
doing so, it breaks my changes to the community list page. On the community
list page I'm using CollapsibleList.js to manage the community
Hello all,
I am running Dspace 5.1 and I configured the request item to be possible
to all. But i wish to have ability to restrict some documents uploaded to
the system.
Example a user can upload two files abstract.pdf and fulltext.pdf but i
want to make abstract.pdf to be open access and
Helix,
Thanks for the help, the code is working and will remove the list from the
home page.
Here is my problem.
Currently in production we are using collapsible list for the community
browse page, which you can see here:

I believe that is a feature not a bug. The tasks an admin can see are
set when an item is added and not updated when an admin is added. This
is true in our XMLUI 3.1 instance, too.

The code I sent you tries to be as non-invasive as possible. When you add
the template, the only the DRI output of the homepage should change but not
the DRI output of the community-list. Therefore, if your collapse/expand
widgets are just css/js, they should continue to work. If, however, they do
Hi Ally,
You can edit that item's policy. Remove the anonymous READ policy from the
fulltext.pdf. You can then assign a group that can read that pdf. In the
assigned group, you can add epersons that are allowed to view that pdf when
logged in.
Hope this help.

HI again-
I just noticed the other similar question about Request a Copy...
This was working for us in Dspace 4, I'm wondering what changed in v5 to result
in this behavior.
Anonymous has READ rights for this item as well as the collection.

Hi-
We're running Dspace 5 Mirage 2 and the Request a Copy

Helix,
After looking over my changes, I did have to add this to the utils.xsl file:
xsl:choose
xsl:when
test=/dri:document/dri:body/dri:div[@id='aspect.artifactbrowser.CommunityBrowser.div.comunity-browser']
ul class=collapsibleList

Has anybody used or has anybody considered using the METS behavior section
in order to say I want this object displayed by that viewer? Do you think
that this will be practical/impractical with DSpace?
Best regards

Can I, while logged in as an administrator, impersonate another user ?
If so - how do I do that ?
Is there a way to see the workflow/tasks on another users ‘My DSpace’ page ?
