Hi Josh, Check your filesystem permissions (chmod/chown). Such that your tomcat user (tomcat5 or dspace), has full read permissions to your dspace directory. This might not be the case here, but check your dspace/config/xmlui.xconf has the path to your theme correct, and that it ends in a slash.

Hey Peter, I checked the xmlui.xconf file and it had line pointing to a test custom theme directory, but that theme's directory no longer exists. So I just commented out the line in the file, ran the ant update and restarted tomcat. Now the xmlui works again with the default theme. Thanks for
