I wouldn't use the overloaded silliness of Dayton as a good example of how things are supposed to work. About all Dayton traffic is good for showing, is that there are times when you should *shut the Gateway DOWN* during events. Better yet, it shows that the software lacks the ability to blo

When I try to connect via a DVDongle, you show up in the list, but then get a timeout when connecting. I'd check if all services are running, maybe reboot the gateway if possible. Verify that your IP address isn't changing on the public side of your router. Ed WA4YIH From: dstar_digital@yahoog

Dayton is always an aberration, you can't set any kind of communication policy based on what happens in 4 days in Ohio! :) The gateway implementation needs some improvement on callsign routing, it needs to update much faster. However, I would contend that most operators are generally on a very

Callsign routing works ONLY if the user hasn't recently changed repeaters. Might not be a problem in WA, but in Atlanta we've got a number of repeaters and users commonly move back and forth between them. I regularly use 3 different repeaters and if I'm driving through town, add a couple of more

I did all the tests of our gateway (PY2KCA) in my place with a 6MB DWN/1MB UP cable Internet connection. Everything worked fine. We only have the VHF module installed, since we want to install more D-Star repeaters and, for economical reasons, no extra modules will be installed in near future. A

Hello everyone! Our D-Star gateway was working just fine until last week, when for no aparent reason, all connections requests are getting "Remote System is Currently Busy". Looks that we are not receiving incoming connections too, since nobody called anymore. Our Internet connection looks ok,
