As you will see in the manual the 880 can use either the OPC-478 or OPC-1529R cables. If you search the internet you can easily find the pinout for these serial cables and make your own if cost is a real issue. The cable is a very simple 3-wire hookup. Either cable will work with many USB to

No, I am using a ICOM 880 to try and command KR4AIK C to connect to REF002A. Someone else said they changed the IP address for REF002, so the server box has to reboot. From: dstar_digital@yahoogroups.com [mailto:dstar_digi...@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Donald James Sent: Monday, July

There is another option besides the ICOM software and cable -- RT Systems sells their WCSD880 software for use with a cable that plugs into the speaker jack and supports cloning mode. If you have the cable already, the software can be downloaded for US $25. As Ted W1GRI points out, you can

This was answered up stream. REF002 apparently had an IP address change and DPLUS needs to be restarted on the gateway attached to the repeater. Kent seems to know how to connect, as he connected to REF001A and REF014A, just was having difficulty connecting to REF002A. On Jul 26, 2010,

Use KR4AIKCL to link to the repeater, if you are using a DVAP. If you are going directly via RF to the repeater, and If permitted by gateway administrator, set RPT1=KR4AIK C, RPT2=KR4AIK G and UR=REF002AL to link to reflector (if repeater is not already linked). Put UR=CQCQCQ once linked.
