Can anyone give me the e-mail address of the maintainer of D-Plus? I'm
looking to write an application that uses its data and would like to
see if there's a better way of doing that other than watching the D-
Plus log.

Why disconnect anything? Leave the data cable connected and use the
microphone on the radio to do digital voice.

That sounds like a defective unit to me. I've never seen that happen
on mine. I've never run the battery all the way down yet but on other

the display. Your battery wasn't low, was it?

The problem with aprs.fi is that you have to "login" in order to see
anything. It's not clear why you have to do this and it prevents you
from sending a link to it to another person because you can't link
right to your position. It is a nice interface though.

I don't think so. If you use D-PRS you setup in there what the equipment
you're using is as a part of the UNPROTO string.

e band: A (1.2 GHz), B (440 MHz), C
(144 MHz) so try not to switch between bands any more than necessary or
calls to you might go out the wrong band.
The Last Heard list is for when someone uses the repeater at all, not
just as a gateway to another repeater.
See two paragraphs above for the A, B, and C explaniation.
