Hi Larry
The dongle will be your only way to go sadly. You can't use your
basestation microphone, but you could use a USB Headset or a Mic on your
computer.

It is a poverty
radio 20km's line of sight with pretty good success. I
have yet to try them on DSTAR for that distance.

So, that is confusing. must be the rat poison I was inhaling at the repeater
shack (by accident---Nate, no comments!) J
RPT2 should always be the Gateway callsign regardless of which input module
your on.
Also, Larry, if your on VE3YYZ, they sometimes have intermod problems.
