Steve, Just remembered...when I had to replace the speaker in my IC-2AT, I ordered from Mouser. To get the right size, I bought several from their large selection, and together they cost less than one from ICOM. The one I chose also handled more power and sounded better. Just a thought. Brad

Steve, I hope Icom is cooperative and willing to replace the speaker. Wonder if the '92 speaker is different from the one in the '91. I suspect speaker failures are about as likely in one radio as in the other. Thanks for sending the ICF file. Last night, I began the process of "understanding"

I turned my IC92 on this morning and the speaker sound was very distorted. I tapped lightly on the face of the radio with my index finger and the speaker went quiet. 12 screws and 2 ribbon cables and a couple of solder pads later, the speaker had gone open. The Icom # is 251001420 and their desc
