To add to the other's comments: The IC-91AD seems to run hotter for
most folks than the IC-92AD with the larger battery pack (heat sink).
The joke is running around that there's soon to be an Icom oven mitt,
as an official option, that can be purchased for use with the IC-91AD.

I have the 92AD (never used the 91AD)... you'll have 4 power settings (super
low, low, medium, and high) compared to the two settings on the 91AD - this was
a plus for me as I like the medium settings. Also, small advantage, but the
radio feels solid in your hand... I have large hands and
I am thinking about getting one of the above mentioned handhelds.
Other than cost, I would like to know what is thought of the two
radios and benefits of one versus the other.
