I had thois problem twice before. Once it was caued by a combo of improper termination and improperly set SCSI IDs. The Other time, the drive was just dead. If the drive works just fine on other macs, it should be fine. Check your terination and move it to another SCSI ID, try a new cable, bur

I have the same problem when I use my older Pinnacle 1x CD-R. What would cause this? I've never had a problem burning a CD, it will just show up as 6 different drives in SCSIProbe and Drive Setup. I have also used it on a Windows machine before, and it will show up as 6 drives in "My Computer". I'

FYI, in our experience we have yet to come across a 2400 that worked properly with CardBus unmodified. But we've heard a handful of people claim theirs does. The best way to find out, however, is to buy the CardBus card you are interested in using and stick it in and see if it works. If it does
