Brian, I'm thinking you'll get a KP because of the hardware makeup of the 2400. Mainly I think the video controller will cause the KP. Ryans L2 cache config works with nearly all G3 CPUs so I don't see why it wouldn't work with your G3 chip. Do you know what to do to get the OSX installer to work?

Thanks, John. Why do you think I will get a kernel panic during start up? I don't know if Rempel's L2CacheConfig will work with the Interware G3 CPU so even if I don't get the kp it may be slow. On Friday, June 29, 2001, at 10:56 PM, John Wood wrote: > I wish you the best of luck. Rempel has m

Ralph, have you tried the 2400c directly, i.e. without the router? Does it do the same thing? My RoadRunner cable in No. VA has been flawless and I have used just a hub and now a LinkSys router. On Friday, June 29, 2001, at 10:35 PM, Ralph Mawyer wrote: > I have RoadRunner cable service, using

Installing X on a G3 upgraded 2400 would be nearly impossible. The first powerbook G3 which was based on the 3400 can't even do X. I do not have a duo anymore, or a 2400 for that matter, but with my knowledge of successful OS X installs I think you will not find any successful installs. Even if so
