I think Sam needs to upgrade to a Windoze machine that will never need

I have a couple Madsonline power supplies in perfect condition I am
offering up here before they hit ebay. These are the g-3 (not USB
ibook) models. I used them for a Pismo, and my 2400.
Madsonline makes an adapter( $20.00) that will let you let you convert
it to the newer g4 style plugs.
Just to give my impressions of my 2400 with the recent 96 meg RAM chips.
Running OS 9.1.
Things seem snappier. No virtual memory!
My first one was DOA but the replacement was fine.
I was hoping that the new RAM would allow me to make full rez scans on a
Leaf35 film scanner with my 2400. About
I noticed my 96 meg. module was made by Samsung and said vintage computer
in small text on one side. These must have been a recent run. Sure seems
weird.

Find that 1.5 mm thick craft foam and use a hole puncher to create small
foam discs. Get the matt black foam sheet. The stuff is 8.5 x 11 and very

I have a Color Stylewriter 2200 that is not working. It is in great cosmetic
condition, no scratches etc. Looks to have never traveled. Given to me by a
friend.
It looks hard to get into and work on, but knowing the crew on this list it
can find a home. I think they sold for over $300.00 when

I am keeping the Vintage 2400c though. I can't really imagine it would
ever be worth the few hundred dollars it's worth to part with it.
The grandkids will get more out of it one day than I ever have. I have a
12-year-old daughter, so it has time to ripen : )

All of those SDK USB drivers were 1.5.5f1 and were newer than the 1.4.1
drivers I had downloaded.
I would love to know why this made the error message go away, but thanks for

I have not tried this on batteries, but I have on the Apple brick power
supply modules when the cord shorts out. To open those up, I place it in a
vice with the seams on the long axis facing the vice jaws and squeeze and

card. Both seem to work fine. The AP seems slow to me though.

I want to hook it to a wired ethernet network with the combo card and use

I finally got into the guts of the computer to the point where I saw how the
3 different boards connect. The boards were not seated properly. It had been
taken apart with just the top board removed, so I thought that is how it is
done. Anyway, I took the

This 2400 was working up unitil an update of HD and RAM so I doubt it died
of old age hours of use etc. I got it from a friend. It looks brand new!
Tonight I switched back to the original HD and ram to no avail.

After longing for a 2400 for years I finally have one. A friend sent me one
he had sitting in a closet for 2 years. He tried to put a new 6 gig HD in
from MCE and it never started up again.
I am assuming my friend screwed it up : )

Yes, thanks to Sidney Ho's lobbying efforts there is a new upgrade card in
the RD stage at the moment. We're hoping for a 600mhz, maybe 700 cpu. I
think the new Newer company is working on it. Or is it Sonnet?
Any idea on the cost of the card and if it will run os X?
