Duolisters,
I'm finally doing a little WiFi networking with my 2400 and have a few
questions. At present, my 2400 is running Airport v2.04 software and the
Orinoco Gold 802.11b card. The base station is an older Airport 802.11b
connected to a Motorola SB5100 cable modem with Comcast residential se
I have a nifty Yu-Plan 2400 translucent blue keyboard that I would like to trade for a
Yu-Plan 2400 translucent clear or Yu-Plan 2400 dark grey
keyboard. I'd also be willing to sell this keyboard outright to a fellow DuoLister.
It's a great keyboard but I'm personally weary of the "blue" era in

Since the list is a bit slow...
What is the *safest* method of installing OS v9.2.2 on my 2400?
I vaguely recall this being discussed a while back and that one could
use a utility to temporarily tweak the 2400 "ID" so that it fools the
system installer into thinking my 2400 is a 3400. I also reca

I just received the annual upgrade propaganda for Quicken Deluxe 2003.
It lists 128mb RAM and OS 9.2.2 as the minimum system requirements. Will
it even *install* on a 2400 with 80mb RAM and OS 9.1?
I'd been meaning to upgrade from Quicken 2001 but had ignored the annual

After I raved about my new IBM 30 gb HD from MCE,
Milind Lamaye then noted;
>looking at MCE's web site, they have a compatibility matrix that
>shows the 12 gb as the largest one that will work with a 2400...?
I saw the same matrix on the MCE web site last week. I was bummed that

I just received my trusty 2400 back from MCE this afternoon. Their ever
helpful Kevin Yuhas arranged for a sameday installation of the IBM 30 gb
HD to replace my anemic 1.3 gb HD.
The IBM 30 gb is noticeably quieter and faster. It formats out at 27.9
gb which will take me *quite* a while to feel
