I would like to know if it is at all possible to hook up a duo dock
video out to an lcd flat display?
No problem. You'll need one of those little adapters with the
dip-switches. The dock supports resolutions up to 1024 x 768; I
wouldn't recommend an LCD monitor that goes higher than that because
But are some displays running at 72ppi? Or is 96ppi the standard on
LCD
I think 96 is the standard for anything that expects to be used with
a Windows system, which in practice means all third-party models.
72ppi is presumably still used on Apple-branded LCDs, but I've never
owned one so am
I think we all got it... Certainly I did, and similarly did an
emergency unsubscribe. The flood seems to have stopped now, and we
seem to have resubbed successfully (I used the link on the list page
- presumably you did too?).
But bloody hell, what WAS all that?
Nick.
Am I the only one that
Just curious. You probably get this a lot, Nick but
are you the same Nick Lowe, the musician who was once
a member of Rockpile and produced the early albums of
Elvis Costello?
Well, yes, I do get this a lot, but there are plenty worse people to
be mistaken for. (Punch cartoon from the 70s, man
I seem to recall that there is an old program that will reset the
power manager for Duos. However, I dont remember the name.
ResetPwrMgr by Randall Voth. I can send you a copy if needed.

My question is, does anyone know if their is a program(s) in the DOS or
Windows world (current or past) which can do what More 3.1 does? Namely to be
a good outliner. I use More 3.1 for sermon outlines and lesson planning but I
have occasion to share my stuff with non-Mac users.
You want
and Popup Folder (which
also gives you much smoother faster submenus than 8.6, or 9.1) lets you set
F keys in 7.6.1.
PopupFolder should come with a big red warning. DO NOT GO NEAR IT if you
have any intention of ever working with any later system (i.e. 8.0
onwards). A couple of hours' use and
/temporaryItems/more31.sit.hqx.
I'll fix the link off my own page - thanks for the heads up.

it's also the best-ever outliner, list-oriented database, and all-round

Mark Kippert teasingly asked:
BTW Nick are you communicating from somewhere in the distant future? Did
Apple ever come out with a killer sub-notebook ;^)
As a matter of fact, they did. (Snare roll...) It was called the Duo 280c.
