I'm still a little surprised with the use of Ti. Yes it is light and non corrosive, but the Mg alloys are much stiffer. For instance the SR-71 black bird skin is made of Ti. The wings can flex without any real bad things happening. But, for stuff like the landing gear, Mg alloys are used for they
