I have installed Appleworks 5 on 68040 machines and had it work fine. In fact I just opened up the installer on my iMac disk and confirmed that there is a 68k version of Appleworks 5 so it should run fine provided you have enough RAM. I like using Appleworks 5 because it is alot more convenie

AppleWorks 5 does run on 68K machines, although I imagine it might be a bit slow on '020 and '030 machines. Fine on an '040 though. It runs in 2.4 MB unless you use it for large images, so it's ideal for a Duo. nick -- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for us
