Man I can't believe you are going to give up. All you have to do is ground pin 4 to 10 (or something like that I'd have to actually read the docs to know for sure). We are not talking rocket science here. Just connecting one wire to another. You can do it too. It is actually very easy. -

I used a 1710av with my G3 B&W for forever. Got it with our 6400 (blech) and used it on the G3 with 8.6, 9.0, 9.0.4, 9.1, 9.2, X DP4, X 4k17, X 10.0 - 10.0.4 & X 10.1 until it turned green and died. Rob, knock it off. I was using a plain adapter that whole time. Nick, get a new video board fo

Nick, You have been told what you need to do and yet you don't do it. You continue to do what doesn't work and are surprised when it doesn't work a 2nd, third, even forth time. It's a hardware issue. You have the wrong cable. Make the right cable and it will work. Getting the right adapt

I mentioned before about the "sony" type adaptor that lets you switch some dip switches to select the monitor. If you can't find one of these then what you will have to do is find the docs on how to setup a cable for an apple monitor. I use to have these years ago but I don't now. They are p
