circuit is greatly affected by the impedance of the circuit. I took 20 minutes

1210z with good signals. Programming in Spanish. Loudest signal on the band
this morning ... 1KW ? NEW ! (RZZ - WI )

I am in the market for a portable receiver with the following requirements:
- Must fit in backpack/daypack without breaking my back. I still need to be

that the ferrite rod inductors I was using in my homebrew LC phasing box gave
me about 25db of loss, I quickly replaced them with some 9 inch basket weave
coils using speaker wire. Boy, are signals loud now ! I wonder how

mentions of Montreal and Quebec. NEW
1009.8khz Unknown station in SS making a nice het on CFRB.
From Milwaukee, WI at sunset am hearing what to me sounds like african music
with announcements in french on 1610khz. Poor copy because of local TIS
stations.
