Here's Radio Progreso, 200KW on 890khz from Tuesday August 18th at 841pm
mountain time here in Laramie, WY. Audio is reduced to 3khz to get away
from KRVN 880 splatter a bit. You can hear Mark Levin chattering away under
it a tiny bit in spots, WLS is usually very dominant and loud here on 890.
KQCV 800 Oklahoma City at 757pm mountain time in two segments.. the end of
Focus on the Family in segment 1 and a partially audible legal id segment
2. Not bad considering their night patter.

They seem to go to night pattern way earlier then the official FCC Time.
They are 50KW full time, but different patterns day and night.
Pattern change time is 930pm mountain/830pm pacific, but they switched
patterns at 821pm . How do I know? Listening in Laramie, WY clear as day,
850 miles away

1060. Having one more station would put Lotus over the cap, the day
signals at 5kw day ND for 1060 and 4KW Day ND for 1180 arent much
different... but 1060 is 500W 2 towers night, not very directional and 1180
is a 2 tower very
It's back! Tonight, I'm hearing a very very strong sounding off
frequency het/whine on 710. Last time this happened it was proven to be
Cuban based upon hearing it on a Key West SDR during the day.

Tuned by 930 and heard what sounded like Christian music instead of the
usual country music from KOGA or news talk from KROE.
My audio seemed to match the stream but wasnt for sure because the signal
was kinda iffy... got a somewhat clear "CJCA Edmonton" legal id straight up
11pm mountain and the
On and off this last week, I've had what sounds like some kind of data
broadcast on 1410.. it sounds somewhat similar to a WeFax broadcast in
the HF bands, but not quite.
I havent noticed it on other frequencies. whats going on?
John Johnson near Phoenix says hes hearing it too, but its
On after dark again, with country music. Liners sound something like,

WMT 600 Cedar Rapids lost a tower and is currently off the air. This makes
the 3rd known station to lose a towe4, along with KROS and KFXN.

Cuba on AM is quite possible in most of the US. Rebelde's high powered
710khz transmitter has bombed in here to Laramie, WY like a ton of bricks
before, so much so it's sounded as good as KOA 850 from Denver 150 miles
away. This is Rebelde on 710khz form Sun Aug 9th at 1128pm mountain. Not
