Thanks to all who previously responded to my posting. I continue to get
queries, so for those still needing an XF4IH QSL:
Cards sent via the WF5E QSL service have been received via the US QSL
bureau system.
I sent direct to the PO Box 3 times. The 3rd time I sent registered and
a got a reply
Nothing worked yet, so I copied the file off this
computer to a pen drive
and carried it to the computer in question and it
installed perfectly.

I cant get W6ELProp to down load to a new
computer (Windows XP Home).
Hope prop picks up. Been checking 20 meters 7 AM to
9 PM(local times) and a peep on my 20 meter Sterba curtain.

i'd sure like to hear them louder than the 5-3 this morning.
one of 2 i need (bs7 the other). hopefully, sometime during the
month...
and if this operation is met with good reports from/to the VU
authorities, there will be future operations (hopefully with
amplifiers!).

coast but appeared EU's were working them.

The reply was that they had NOT been on CW at all, as of about
1900z.

On Thursday ( Dec. 02 ) between 2050 and 2115 UTC,
VU4RBI was aneasily readable S-7( SP) in central NC on
14.201 Mhz. I was fortunate enough to work her at 2100. She faded rapidly after
2120 and the signal was gone by 2130, although I understand she worked some EU
after then.

at 6pm was saying northern lights could be visible here. not a good
sign.
